Elisha Shlomo

Zohar Michal

Why is Natty covered in kissed...
...could it be that the boys tidied up...
...and Zohar said thank-you???

The activities and the weekend for Saba's 80th birthday

And the morning after, seems we have to vote for mayor again!

Who shall we vote for in the local elections?...
...I know, let's vote for all of them!

It's strange to visit Yehuda Halevi... and meet old friends

Natty and Elisha have planned a cheesy Shabbat...
...but Zohar prefers mashed potato

Only one grape-juice making session this year... too much dust for the vine!

It's off to school... and for the first time in over three years, to different schools!

Time for a real holiday

Enjoying Oriya's Bat Mitzva...
...Elisha's sushi-making birthday party...
...and practicing for Scouts' camp

The entire family spends a night sleeping out in the local park

The excitement that is ... iPhone!...
...and the excitement of Zohar's birthday party!

Natty says Shalom (bye) not only to Kita Vav, but also to junior school

Zohar says Shalom (bye) to Kita Gimmel

Natty's Bar Mitzva ... click here for more photos
alt="" width="100%">

What a crazy week, first we select Netta to win Eurovision...
...then celebrate the US embassy move with burgers...
...and finally prepare for...

Natty's Hanachat Tefillin

The flag-bearers are ready to receive their marching instructions...
...and the planes are in the sky looping-the-loop...
...so now we can bounce for joy at Israel's 70th birthday!

Ayelet seizes the opportunity to fly over - and triggers a not-quite-repeat-seder meal

Pesach - IN - Ikea...
...spotting chametz while IN - the queue to get OUT...
...and OUT with no need to stretch our legs any more!

Then OUT in the hills...
...running ABOUT playing games...
...and finally being lifted UP while UNDER-THE-SEA?!

Pesach is nearly upon us... time to clean the car...
...get all the chametz together for burning...
...and for the first time in memory, burn it in the rain!

Puting the finishing touches of "robe" to Zohar's new room...
...then Elisha and Zohar get ready and pack lots of water for a stupidly hot scouts tiyyul

Regulars of 'Melchett Mike' will know to watch out for Stuey and Dexxy...
...Zohar's taking no chances and has graduated to white-yellow in JuJitsu!

It may look like we're helping hand out water to marathon runners...
...but look carefully... are we giving... or taking?...
...to add to our collection celebrating five years of Jerusalem marathons!

Purim vacation in Hadera with Savta, Zeidi, and our cousins from Tel Aviv

Elisha is helping get Zohar's new room ready...
...and then we can dress up for Purim!
The gadgets of the present get their own charging shelf...
...but we still pay homage to the gadgets of the past...
...and eagerly await the changes of the future!

This Friday, the boys both really earned a sushi treat...
...and Zohar (who doesn't like sushi) got a consolation prize!

It's the "end of 2017" party...
...with special guests Emma and the mirror ball...
...and next year... a new cycle path!

Having a great time at...
...our cousin Roni's...
...Bat Mitzvah party!

Chanukah is a time to light candles and sing...
...with the whole family together...
...together with the school Guinea Pigs!

Wow! The US President just moved our Jerusalem home into Israel... and the only thing that got demolished was a packet of salt-n-vinegar crisps!

What do you do when it's cold but sunny? Take your tray across the road and eat your pizza on the pavement there!

Letting off steam dancing up, up...
...and...
...away!

Another chance to reminisce about Tiyyul Shnati...
...while Eli and Zohar decide to enjoy another glorious Friday in the park.

On Tiyyul Shnati at the dead sea...
...and a bike tiyyul to Nayot park... the long way.

Last time these folks were together here at Kibbutz Lavi, they were on Hach. Now, 32 years on, we are no longer twinkles in mummy's eye.

Chol Hamoed Succot at Ein Hemed - with the Greenspan cousins (but no tadpoles this year)

Putting the finishing touches to the succah...
...then going to get our Arba Minim ... this is the one that got away!

Shana Tova - to everybody - and from all of us

Post-selichot, still very early, with school at the Kotel...
...and in the afternoon, everyone gets to "press" grape juice!
Ready to go back to scouts... with green pasta...
...it seems Zohar gets appointed the 'Rashgod'?!...
...and Elisha, on his birthday, appears only as a silhouette!

After a looooooong summer... back to school ...
...with Natty in Vav accompanying the new aleph...
...and later Elisha accompanying Zohar on her first trip with gears!

Summer... friends (for Elisha's tenth) ...
...visitors...
...and, of course, most of all (it seems), screens!

Waiting for the hasaa to take us to our last amazing day at Shutaf ...
...then the next day watching a ice-skating show...
...followed by Zohar quickly making everyone lunch!

A great few days (and nights) away at Mitzpe Ramon

It's a swimming...
...Pool!

A lively game of Monopoly...
...followed by fresh lemonade to serve at the double-hotels!
The Bustan Brody chessboard, before ...
...during...
...and... after???!

Full blown birthday season... Happy Birthday mummy, Zohar and Natty... multiple parties, surprises, cakes, presents, sushi, sparkers, baloons, friends, ... and glue?

And now, M-E-R-O-N !!!! With Natty and Zohar ...
...then Elisha!

The Natty and Zohar show...
...with ... AYELET ... holding 'baby' Elisha...
...Followed by Zohar's drum show

Happy 50th Birthday... reunited Jerusalem

OUT... IN the garden...
...IN... the box that's being thrown OUT...
...Shaking OUT the cover to put the duvet IN

It's hot... time to set up a pool party...
...so that once the others are back from a trip to Gan Sacher...
...the fun can really begin!

Oh no! It wouldn't be Yom Ha'atzmaut without blue and white pasta...
...which inspires us to create multi-color challah cup cakes on Friday...
...while Zohar (to the left of the ball) plays on the holiest football pitch in the world!

Pesach is a time when we remember... to go to the zoo before our manuy runs out ... even if we almost spend no time actually looking at the animals!

Burning the chametz at Bustan Brody...
...so that we can eat Matzah at Gan Hobotani!
With school forgotten and the various Shutaf, Scouts, and other activities over, the holiday has really begun

Time to kick off Pesach cleaning... starting with emptying our schoolbags, of course!

Friday, at the cinema, partly to celebrate...
...Elisha's team coming fourth in the national Code Monkey finals...
...and then finishing up with a girls night in!

An amazing day at the marathon, with everyone getting really into it!

Ben-El Tavori, "Shoom Davar", and Olaf...
...nahafochu! time to watch Grease...
...even if the Pink Ladies were somewhat missing!

Adar is here... time to get out the costumes...
...but the rain is also still here... come on Zohar... when that was my bike, I didn't have gears either!

Shabbat is out... after shul, kiddush, park, food, friends, scouts and more park today... finally a screen!

Press-ups are great excercise...
...especially when you have someone to practice with...
...ha! I'm going to do my football practice push-ups in the rain!

Love to ALL the family in the UK... especially mummy! ... and very best wishes to Malcolm and Tania, from the squinkies and from us!

Making some "get well" gifts...
...and not even for Zohar who had strep this week!

Natty wasn't expecting to be making a salad of thinkly-sliced vegetables...
...Eli and Zohar certainly weren't expecting to be feeding trained pigeons in the local park...
...and Zohar certainly wasn't expecting Daddy's 46th to be marked by the opening the Mevasseret tunnels the inauguration of President 45!

Revising... with Zitz Fleish ... glued to the chair...
...claiming to have nothing to do with the matter!

Getting the hang of Code Monkey, now on the final screen...
...getting the hang of high-speed cornering...
...or just really getting the hang of two wheels!

Last update of 2016... Chanukah Day Trips while based at the "Hotel at Home"

This year, there are three of us being "Code Monkeys"...
...but only one who can deliver pizza on roller-blades!

Tidying up all the shoes...
...and tidying up all the shelves...
...so that Zohar has somewhere to skip??!?!

...now, children... today's word is "photochromatic"

Really enjoying my Onesie ...
...enjoyed "chain reaction" at Ofek...
...and enjoyed making cucumber boats for Natty and me!

Exciting week, with Space Laser ...
...many roles in the "Yom Rabin" tekes...
...and the biggest moon for the next 18 years!

While Natty gets ready for a weekend at Bet Galgalim...
...Eli is sharpening his "Scratch" skills...
...and Zohar gets free reign of the Meccano!

For the last time of this season, two of us are going swimming... and one having a bath

We had our face painted on Hol Hamoed...
...while Eli made an Eli-sized bubble then went off to scouts...
...leaving Zohar and Natty to Bench Lulav for him!

Suddenly it's erev Succot... cutting the final Schach...
...putting in the final decorations...
...and making the final pre-Chag calls!

And we say back to Barack Obama and all the world leaders who came... Shana Tova, Chaver Yakar!

Asking and answering music questions at the Sheva Brachot...
...then the next night dressing a rolling robot...
...and wiring up circuits at the "Leil Madanim"!

Dreessed up and all excited...
...to be going to Elior and Shaked's chuppa...
...and to the party afterwards!

Why are we bringing Elisha's birthday cake on Friday?...
...could it be Eli wanting to go to the scouts opening ceremony was on Thursday?...
...who cares!? The cake is yummy, thanks mummy!

Finally... back to school... one class higher!

Nearing the end of the summer... let's drive around the zoo!

A great get-away to Ramat Gan - pool & beach - to be followed by friends and family!

So we set up the tent city in the garden...
...but David and Meirav's kids just joined us in front of the TV!

Rosh Chodesh Av ... go and see the Rav? ... Well, if you don't have, get a Rav Kav!

An amazing Friday afternoon with Rachel and Gideon's kids!

Third week of the summer holidays... and as well as Keytana, we're having a great time in the afternoons!

Don't worry Eli, we are having a blast on our way to the park on thireteen wheels...
...and we are sure you are going to have a great time at Machnak!

Looking back at the last eleven years...
...now able to do things we were never before...
...and looking to the future... Happy Birthday Natty!

One prelude was seeing how extreme we could get with Zohar's new roller blades...
...the next was mummy's birthday with no fewer than 49 candles...
...but when school was out, we had the real deal, a sleepover party for... Zohar's birthday!

Emunah's Bat Mitzvah party...
...with all the kids...
...and a fun vineyard!

Making sure the end-of year presentation for Daled goes well...
...making lemonada for my end-of-year project on lemons...
...and I'm making a trolley for my parents to get back on when they're done with all this running around!

Restoring the little-known minhag of filling up the windscreen washers before Shavuot!

I get to enjot a hot wok take-out...
...I get to enjoy the acheivement of finishing all 200 CodeMonkey stages...
...and I get to enjoy the tree strawberries that I picked

We are finally getting to the end of Lag Ba'omer with a small bonfire at home...
...and finally getting our promised 'climbing wall' birthday present...
...which means that I finally get a turn on the computer!

Why is Noga here on Motzai Shabbat?...
...Surely not because we're all going to be up 'till midnight watching the Eurovision!

It's been a varied and engaging Yom Ha'atzmaut break for all of us!

We love our Elior! Almost as much as our ice-pops!

A wild, wacky, bouncy, techy, outdoors... and sweet Pesach (Kosher also)!

While the boys have been burning Chametz...
...and of course, saying "Kol Chamira"...
...Someone has been getting her Mah Nishtana ready!

Why are Natty and Zohar in a tent?...
...could it be to find out what it's like for Eli at his first ever Scouts' camp?...
...At least we know he's not playing frisbee - 'cos we've got it!

It has been a busy week - recreating the plagues...
...helping out at the Yarid Aviv (and being rewarded with a plant!)...
...and learning to ride a bicycle practically overnight!

Purim away in Haifa with our cousins from Tel Aviv!

This year's Purim costumes: Olaf (from "Frozen")...
...the F.B.I. (trying to crack an iPhone password, no doubt)...
...and the little mermaid who is having a blast with all the school purim activities!

This year, we actually participated in the marathon, with Bet Galgalim... and got medals...
...It was also a week when Zohar got her siddur and participated in the mesiba!

Daddy's back from a business trip for Rosh Hodesh Adar Bet - with presents!

Natty's Kita Dalet tiyyul shnati was hard work, but a great success...
...a bit like making chocolate biscuits with mummy!
Sarat HaMishpatim Ayelet Shaked came all the way to school so that Natty could have a selfie with her...
...then we didn't let her leave until Eli had talked about accessibility issues and how that affects all of us...
...and while the boys were playing politics, Zohar has learned how to read!

See, we can all co-operate. We aren't arguing or fighting each other... but maybe that's only because we are co-operating in the task of giving the Whack-A-Mole game a good thrashing!

Natty's first ever live rock concert - Danny Sanderson fund-raiser for Gan HaShikumi but hated getting so many cuddles from from my old gananot...
...Elisha's first ever "live volcano" experiment, with vinegar and baking soda...
...Not to be outdone, Zohar's first ever creation of script, block, and English on a whiteboard!

Everyone practice your silly faces for Keren's BatMitzva party!!

As you can see, we're having a great time for Tu Bishvat... but where's Eli?
...just completed stage 162 out of 165 of Code Monkey - with three stars!

Making a word-search for school - done, and tried it out on unsuspecting victims...
...next, we can prepare the dance...
...for daddy's birthday!

What can be more exciting? a bowling activity with friends...
...finding an intact box of chocolates in the fridge...
...or being able to have our first ever Mekupelet - a parev one!

When it's blustery and cold outside, we can be inside, having fun!!

For the first weekend of the year, I'm going away, by meself...
...of course, first we had to enjoy dancing to the 'chart of the year'...
...and then liven things up with a bit of colour on our pasta (and hands)!

For Asara Betevet, I'm on TV, announcing the events around ancient Jerusalem...
...while I'm part of the choir providing the solemn backdrop.
...but when the day is over, we can get back to dancing and cartwheeling!

We also visited Ovnat to see Roi...
...and were blown away by the beauty of the place and its scenery!

A really exciting mix of activities over Chanukah this year!

"Hey Eli... something's not right... it feels like we are in some kind of altered reality... let's take the blue pills and get out of The Matrix"...
..."Quick, Natty... take control of those spider-bots... re-program them to run off and scuttle under Savta's bed..."
...at mission control, Zohar activates the recall sequence... and the boys teleport back (the clothes got teleported into the washing machine)!

Baking work...
...computer work (?)...
...and school work!

For no particular reason, we decided to enjoy "Last Night Of The Proms"...
...but not all of us wanted our photo taken!

Nice and clean in good time for Shabbat.

The boys finally get their scout uniforms, after a lot of waiting...
...while Zohar is learning to read after waiting even longer!

Another week, another party... Mazal Tov Noga on your BatMitzvah...
...we partied into the night, then went to school half-asleep!

Mazal Tov! We had an absolute blast at Anthony and Jood's wedding!

Natty and Eli are getting ready for the wedding, Natty is singing a song and Eli is dancing...
...Zohar is on strike. We hope to resolve it by Sunday!

.

When I grow up, I want to be... a wild animal tamer...
...a mountain climber...
...and a celebriry baker!

During Succot, not only did we shake Arbat Haminim...
...but we also did our first post-Shmitta planting...
...and of course enjoyed the events at Gan Sacher!

Getting the succah ready...
...and set...
...but there is something wrong with this 'go'!

Planning to put up decorations in the back room...
...finally removing the cheek decorations I got from scouts...
...and simply decorating our faces with smiles over Rosh Hashana!

After a long wait for Eli's birthday...
...on day four of the sandstorm, we might be stuck indoors, but can finally get down to making grape juice to see in the new year!

And for one last time... Shalom... Shalom... SHALOM KITA ALEF!!!!

A great way to spend the last week of the holiday with a few days in Tel Aviv!

When we are not dressing up and partying...
...we are out on our bike...
...or on our scooter and 'range extender'!

And cue... "We Are (laminated) Family"!

Quickly, paint the flat...
...because Savta and Zeidi are coming, and we don't want them to think we'll trash their place if we sleep over!

The boys work on physio before Natty goes for sleep-over at Roi...
...and Eli goes for sleep-over to Savta and Zeidi with stories of the to-be-birthday bike...
...Zohar helped test out the loudspeaker before her sleep-over with Alma!

Boys went to Sushi Rehavia to look for fish...
...boys and girls being fish...
...then girls splashing like fish!

It's summer time... and the pool is O-U-T-!

Celebrating my TENTH birthday with the family and grandparents...
...not quite EIGHT, but already soldering...
...I might be SIX, but I can still do Spike-etta!

Select year.
